Free Autorun/Autoplay DVD and CD Menu Creation Software

Ever wanted to create your own CDs, DVDs or USB Flash drives that automatically launch a fancy menu when it is placed into the drive, the way commercial software CDs/DVDs do? The facility to automatically run a program, be it a CD menu, DVD menu, installer, or otherwise, is known on Windows systems as AutoRun. Related to this is AutoPlay, where the system automatically plays a particular media file, such as video or a music CD, etc. The free software on this page allow you to easily create a CD menu, DVD menu or the like for your media, so that it automatically displays a menu for your users to select a program to install, read a manual, browse the CD, or even display a list of songs or video to play.

Note that this page only lists free software that generates the Autorun / AutoPlay CD/DVD menus, and not commercial software like Autorun Typhoon Professional.
