Looking for a free web hosting provider that provide free domain hosting? The list of free web hosts on this page will not only host your site for free, they will also host your domain name without your having to pay anything for the hosting. That is to say, if you have a domain name of your own, you can "point" it to your site hosted with these free web hosts without having to pay an additional charge.

Note: unless I specify otherwise, all the hosts listed here can be assumed to place advertisements on your website. If you don't want ads, it's best to go with a commercial web host. In fact, if you make any money from your site at all, go with a paid web host since free web hosts are notorious for disappearing overnight.
In addition, as a result of this regular stream of free web hosts closing down, it is quite likely that some of the hosts listed here have already closed down by the time you check this page. This free web host provides 110 MB of disk space, 10 GB of bandwidth, file size limitation of 8 MB, a visual file editor, an online site builder, web-based file manager (no FTP), hosting of your own domain name, PHP (but your scripts are not allowed to send mail), the ability to run Zend Guard and IonCube PHP encoded files,
server-side includes (SSI), web statistics, no advertisements, etc. (You can also pay piecemeal for additional features, but if you are planning to do that, in my opinion, you might as well just go with a commercial web host.)

This free web host provides you with 500 MB of disk space, 10,000 MB monthly transfer, FTP access, the ability to host your own domains or use their subdomains, PHP 5, ASP.NET, Perl, MySQL, .htaccess, POP3 and IMAP email and no advertisements. They also provide an alternative package with advertisements but with more features and resources allocated. You are required to join their forum as well and log into it at least once every two weeks. The default PHP installation comes with some limitations (you can't send email through the scripts, etc), but it is possible to request for a few of these limitations to be removed.
