Looking for a free web hosting provider that provide free domain hosting? The list of free web hosts on this page will not only host your site for free, they will also host your domain name without your having to pay anything for the hosting. That is to say, if you have a domain name of your own, you can "point" it to your site hosted with these free web hosts without having to pay an additional charge.

Note: unless I specify otherwise, all the hosts listed here can be assumed to place advertisements on your website. If you don't want ads, it's best to go with a commercial web host. In fact, if you make any money from your site at all, go with a paid web host since free web hosts are notorious for disappearing overnight.
In addition, as a result of this regular stream of free web hosts closing down, it is quite likely that some of the hosts listed here have already closed down by the time you check this page. This free web host gives you a 500 MB (or is it 15 GB?) web space, a PHP, MySQL, a control panel, a script installer for a few programs, such as WordPress, Drupal, etc. They host domains, so if you've bought your own domain name, you can point it to your account here. Alternatively, you can just use a subdomain of their domain. Their PHP facility comes with some restrictions. Note: be careful what you click on this host (ie, read what the button says before clicking). Not all the buttons lead to the free web hosting option and some of the ads look deceptively like it's part of the registration process or even the control panel, but are not.
- X10Hosting
This free web host provides you with 500 MB of disk space, 10,000 MB monthly transfer, FTP access, the ability to host your own domains or use their subdomains, PHP 5, ASP.NET, Perl, MySQL, .htaccess, POP3 and IMAP email and no advertisements. They also provide an alternative package with advertisements but with more features and resources allocated. You are required to join their forum as well and log into it at least once every two weeks. The default PHP installation comes with some limitations (you can't send email through the scripts, etc), but it is possible to request for a few of these limitations to be removed.
