Another free program has been added to the

different ones are shown each time your page is loaded. Webmasters typically use such scripts to rotate advertisements.

Two new compilers/interpreters have been added to the

- New page:
How to Create and Manage Multiple Pages on Your Website with Dreamweaver CS6.
If your website has more than 1 page, creating and updating multiple pages can be a bit of a chore. For example, what
happens if you want to change your design? Do you have to go through every single page to change it?
This chapter of the
Dreamweaver CS6 tutorial shows you how to use the web editor's built-in facilities to simplify and even automate a lot
of the drudgery of maintaining a multi-page website.

Are you thinking of creating a smartphone game? The newest game framework to be added to the
Free Games Programming Libraries and Source Code
page lets you create browser-based games for both mobile phones and desktop computers. Now you can create your own
hit game that becomes an overnight sensation like Flappy Birds!

An open source C/C++ compiler that can create both 64 bit and 32 bit programs for Windows has been added to the
Free C/C++ Compilers and Interpreters page.
Note: C and C++ are general purpose programming languages that let you create your own computer software.

Another Prolog compiler has been added to the Free
Prolog Compilers and Interpreters page. For those who are wondering, Prolog is a computer language that is often used
for writing programs that process human languages, as well as for the development of artificial intelligence.

A new open source video editor has been added to the
Free Video Editors (Software)
page. Check it out if you want to create your own home movie or edit something you've recorded off the air. It has an
impressive array of features, and works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Have you ever wanted to paste something that you cut or copied (to the clipboard) earlier, only to realise that you have
copied/cut something else since that time, thus overwriting what you want to use? Would it not be nice to be able to
retrieve what you had copied earlier so that you can paste it? The newest addition to the
Free Clipboard Managers
page will allow you to keep a history of all the things you've cut or copied, view them and paste the item you want.

A new video converter has been added to the
Free Video Converters or Transcoders
page. This program can rip (ie, copy to your computer) unencrypted DVDs and BluRays as well as convert video files
to different formats. For those wondering why you might want to do this, some people do it so that they can view
a show on a different device (eg a tablet computer) or to make it more convenient to handle as a single, smaller file
(instead of, say, a DVD).

(and open source) program that converts ASCII and Unicode UTF-8 text files from the Windows/DOS format

If you are looking for a way to convert your PHP script into a Windows .EXE file, the latest addition to the
Free PHP Compilers: native code, .NET
and Java bytecode compilers page might interest you. As the title suggests, the page also lists compilers that can change
your PHP program into Java and .NET executables. These compilers may be useful if you (say) want to write a program for
the desktop but only know the PHP computer language.

Are you writing computer programs in the C programming language, and are frustrated that so few compilers incorporate
the latest ANSI C standards, C99 and C11? Well, the newest C compiler to be added to the
Free C and C++ Compilers page supports
all these standards. For those wondering what C is, it is a fairly easy-to-learn language (as far as computer languages go,
since it doesn't have a lot of built-in features) that is nonetheless very powerful.

Another program has been added to the
Free Start Menus for Windows 8
page. For a while there, I thought that the forthcoming Windows 8.1 will make such programs unnecessary, but it looks like
Microsoft is not really bringing back the start menu but simply putting a button on the task bar that will switch to the
start screen. So I guess these programs are still useful for those who find the start screen interface to be less usable
than the start menus of Windows 7 and earlier.

Another video sharing site has been added to the
Free Video Sharing Services and Hosting
page. If you want to put up videos on your
website, and don't want the burden of financing the huge bandwidth that videos
tend to consume, check out this page for some alternatives to consider.

I've added an on-demand anti-malware program to the
Free Spyware Detection, Removal and Prevention
page. An "on-demand" anti-malware program means one that does not run in the background all the time. You invoke
it whenever you need to check for and remove any spyware, trojans or other malicious software on your system.

Are you thinking of starting a blog, where you can quickly pen your thoughts on whatever topic you choose? Check out
the newest entry on the Free Blog Hosts
(ie, free blogging services) page. The free blog hosts listed there let you create your own blog by typing in
your entries using a web browser. (It's not actually the best way to
start a website, but it's
probably the easiest.)
